The Firm comprises of a team of architects and engineers who believe that a project conceived by them does not end with its execution.


Archaid was started in 1994 by Architect Radhakrishnan V. Nair, who has over 2 decades of experience in the field in India and abroad. The firm located in Bangalore has designed and executed many projects in India.

Architecture as well as allied services like structural design, electrical, plumbing design are done in house to avoid co-ordination problems and to have a holistic approach to the projects. At the very outset, when the building is being conceptualized, all these aspects are considered. Hence there are no add-on-jobs, which necessitate changes in the original concept.

The firm has deliberately kept its size down in order to provide personal service to clients. The firm is involved in innovative architecture respecting tradition yet not chained by it.

Our philosophy: Take inspiration from nature. Convention and tradition should enhance architecture, not inhibit it. Tradition for us is the link to the past. If you are over reverential to it, your creativity is stifled. The same goes with Vaastu Shastra. A science that has been over-emphasized to detrimental effect is what we think about it. Hence we are able to produce designs rooted in tradition, yet innovative, incorporating contemporary architecture
